Where we are
We are living in pivotal times on our Earth. Many of us can feel it. Something is shifting. Challenges are escalating. Nothing is making sense in the way it used to. Rates of depression, anxiety, and chronic disease are at all time highs in many wealthy countries while many other countries are enduring famine, war, and other existential challenges. The Earth is letting her power be felt. If we are paying attention, it can feel dark, scary and out of control.
The choices before us
The voices of fear and discord are loud right now. The distractions omnipresent and powerful. Perhaps never has it been so hard to choose authenticity. To choose to trust your intuition and your heart. To choose deeper connection. To choose the mystery of the unknown. To choose to listen to the whispers of the trees calling you back to Earth and, by extension, back to yourself. It takes an act of will. It takes devotion. It takes discipline. It takes spiritual warfare to embody your authentic essence and be a part of creating a new everything in the shadows of the old. It also takes a village. None of us can do this alone. But each of us must choose which path forward we will take. And keep choosing every day.
What could be
Human have the innate capacity to be the ultimate keystone species on the Earth. Humans living in embodied harmony within themselves and with the Earth will naturally cooperate with the creative capacity of the Earth to create more abundance. That is the role we are created to play. The first step is coming back into right relationship with yourself, your God, your community, and the Earth. We can eschew the apocalyptic scenarios nipping at our heals and move towards a future of more peace, joy, natural abundance, harmony, connection, meaningfulness, and fun. This may seem like a colossal task. But the more we devote ourselves to knowing and embodying our authentic essence, the more we will see these new possibilities taking shape all over the Earth.
